It was a spiritually enriching journey, because I felt it was not only a trip to discover new places but also an opportunity to meet oneself. It was also culturally enriching, as we entered into the way of life of these countries through excursions that showed us their daily life, as well as through the typical food of each place.
To me, it felt like a proposal that stands apart from what many other travel agencies usually offer. There was support and care at all times, both from Fernando, the coordinator, and from the guides. The hotels were very good, and a lovely group naturally formed, since we were 20 people and half of us were traveling on our own.

It is an intense journey. At times the pace felt tiring for me. It requires good physical condition and a willingness to share the experience with a group.

Southeast Asia had never been on my radar—I always went for the more traditional destinations. My wife knew Fernando Reznik, and during a WhatsApp chat, Fer sent her a detailed itinerary that caught my attention as soon as she read it. A few days later, we spoke on the phone, and the way he described the trip, the vibe, the enthusiasm, made me say to my wife: “WE’RE GOING TO VIETNAM WITH FER.”
It was a spectacular decision. The trip was incredible. The approach, the route, the landscapes—but most of all, what changed the trip and our enjoyment was that Fernando made us live Vietnam: its culture, people, food, religion, history…
The accommodations were of a whole different level, full of sensitivity and a unique experience.
I came back blown away by the experience this trip creates.
You live it, you feel it deep in your chest—the place you’re getting to know.
I’ll go back to Southeast Asia, and definitely with Shantitur and the genius that is Fer.

Viajar con Shantitur fue mucho más que un simple recorrido por Asia: fue una experiencia transformadora. Desde el primer día, la comunicación fue clara, cercana y constante, lo que nos dio tranquilidad total. Nos sorprendió la cuidada selección de destinos: cada lugar tenía algo especial, desde la espiritualidad de Luang Prabang o Hoi An hasta el bullicio vibrante de Bangkok. Lo que más valoramos fue la integración del grupo: personas de distintos lugares que terminamos siendo una pequeña familia. El ritmo del viaje fue perfecto, con tiempo para explorar, descansar y dejarnos sorprender por detalles que sólo los locales conocen.
Los hoteles eran muy cómodos, bien ubicados y con mucho encanto. Conocimos restaurantes increíbles. Las guías locales fueron un lujo: cálidas, informadas y profundamente humanas. Las actividades permitieron personalizar la experiencia y vivir momentos únicos, como una ceremonia budista al amanecer, un viaje a moto por las montañas, nadar a lomo de un elefante en el rio Mekong o un paseo en bicicleta entre arrozales. Todo fue pensado con alegría y dedicación. Sin duda, repetiríamos mil veces.
Con Fernando de Shantitur no viajás solo: viajás acompañado de alma, corazón y profesionalismo.
