Southeast Asia had never been on my radar—I always went for the more traditional destinations. My wife knew Fernando Reznik, and during a WhatsApp chat, Fer sent her a detailed itinerary that caught my attention as soon as she read it. A few days later, we spoke on the phone, and the way he described the trip, the vibe, the enthusiasm, made me say to my wife: “WE’RE GOING TO VIETNAM WITH FER.”
It was a spectacular decision. The trip was incredible. The approach, the route, the landscapes—but most of all, what changed the trip and our enjoyment was that Fernando made us live Vietnam: its culture, people, food, religion, history…
The accommodations were of a whole different level, full of sensitivity and a unique experience.
I came back blown away by the experience this trip creates.
You live it, you feel it deep in your chest—the place you’re getting to know.
I’ll go back to Southeast Asia, and definitely with Shantitur and the genius that is Fer.

Viajar con Shantitur fue mucho más que un simple recorrido por Asia: fue una experiencia transformadora. Desde el primer día, la comunicación fue clara, cercana y constante, lo que nos dio tranquilidad total. Nos sorprendió la cuidada selección de destinos: cada lugar tenía algo especial, desde la espiritualidad de Luang Prabang o Hoi An hasta el bullicio vibrante de Bangkok. Lo que más valoramos fue la integración del grupo: personas de distintos lugares que terminamos siendo una pequeña familia. El ritmo del viaje fue perfecto, con tiempo para explorar, descansar y dejarnos sorprender por detalles que sólo los locales conocen.
Los hoteles eran muy cómodos, bien ubicados y con mucho encanto. Conocimos restaurantes increíbles. Las guías locales fueron un lujo: cálidas, informadas y profundamente humanas. Las actividades permitieron personalizar la experiencia y vivir momentos únicos, como una ceremonia budista al amanecer, un viaje a moto por las montañas, nadar a lomo de un elefante en el rio Mekong o un paseo en bicicleta entre arrozales. Todo fue pensado con alegría y dedicación. Sin duda, repetiríamos mil veces.
Con Fernando de Shantitur no viajás solo: viajás acompañado de alma, corazón y profesionalismo.

Buscando viajar a Asia, encontré en Facebook a Shantitur. Lo que inicialmente parecía ser el viaje soñado, en un instante se transformó en el viaje más sanador de mi vida, tras la pérdida de mi hijo.Fer, con su acompañamiento antes, durante y después del viaje, al igual que mis compañeros de ruta, se convirtieron en un salvavidas infalible y seguro para mí.
El itinerario estuvo cuidadosamente pensado, los horarios se cumplieron a la perfección, y tanto el transporte como los hoteles fueron de excelente calidad. Mejor, imposible.La experiencia vivida con los elefantes fue especialmente significativa. Queremos agradecer a Fernando y a Shantitur por este acompañamiento tan amoroso en nuestro viaje familiar por el sudeste asiático.
Ahora que ya lo hicimos, realmente nos damos cuenta de que no hubiéramos hecho ni la mitad del viaje sin la ayuda de Fer.Cuando empezamos a pensarlo, no teníamos ni la experiencia ni el conocimiento, y mucho menos el tiempo que requiere preparar un viaje a Vietnam 🇻🇳 y Tailandia 🇹🇭.Fernando no solo tuvo una escucha atenta a nuestras necesidades (una pareja con dos hijas de 11 y 14 años), sino que buscó siempre satisfacer nuestras inquietudes.
No estuvo solo en la previa, sino durante todo el viaje. Gracias a ti nos vamos felices por haber escogido a Vietnam como destino para celebrar mi cumpleaños. Tú lograste que este viaje fuera súper especial. Repasaste cada destino con cada detalle. Te encargaste de siempre tener una sorpresa hermosa para mí y toda la familia.

Ruta Naranja - 2018
This is the second time I have participated in a SHANTITUR trip. In 2017, I took the “Dream Trip”, which besides being a proposal for a journey of encounter and reencounter with oneself, is a great opportunity to meet Spanish-speaking people from other countries.
The Dream Trip focuses mainly on visiting beaches and wonderful places, surrounded by nature and also three cities, spaces to meet native people and towns off the traditional tourist routes. We visited a couple of schools, where we had the opportunity to share, play, and recreate our childhood with the children, making us travelers feel like children again.
Without a doubt, for me, the Orange Route was full of learning and memories, meeting a group of beautiful people who taught me a lot. Here, the focus was on learning about and from Buddhist monks, their temples, rituals, and traditions. We also interacted with native people through their markets, workplaces (handicrafts, cigar and paper factories). We had a unique experience sharing with elephants without riding them, bathing them, and walking through tropical forests with them.
The great common denominator of these trips is Fernando, who with his commitment and dedication, takes care of all the details, so you, as a participant, only have to enjoy to the fullest.
Thank you very much, SHANTITUR, for everything. We will see each other again!

The Dream Trip - 2016
How to describe the indescribable? I was traveling alone and although I really enjoy traveling, it was my first trip to Asia, so it didn’t seem appropriate to do it alone. I embarked on the Shantitur adventure without knowing the company, knowing only that it was an Argentine agency with a nice website and an (Fernando) doubtfully cheerful and friendly organizer… Despite some initial fears, I took the risk and it has been one of the best decisions of my life, one of those that the Universe offers you as a gift to the heart. The Shantitur trip is a journey of the soul. The most important thing is that it is a journey of encounter with yourself, with the other, with others.
For me the most beautiful were the people I met, many of whom I hope will accompany me for the rest of my life… I was in awe of the human beauty of Fernando who takes care of every detail so that your only concern is to smile and be happy; of my travel companions who always made me feel welcomed, loved, spoiled; and of the beauty of the inhabitants of that corner of the planet, who with deep love and humility opened the doors of their hearts and homes to us.

This was an experience of a lifetime. The entire trip was well organized. Having an itinerary beforehand, without worrying about the planning and knowing where we were going and what we were going to do, made the trip very enjoyable. Every day was filled with amazing activities. There were options to do activities that I would have never done on my own. I got the chance to meet new people within the group and enjoy time with family in a way that would not have been possible without this trip. The sights of the trip were incredible. Every day was something new, and there was no dull moment. This was one of the best, if not the best, vacations of my life.

The trip with Shantitur is a truly enriching experience for several reasons: firstly, the proposal to approach coexistence as a daily learning opportunity that allows us to know ourselves through others. Additionally, feeling accompanied in such distant geographies.
Having the possibility to enjoy beautiful moments of solitude when one needs them. The most incredible thing about this trip is getting to know the places but also, and fundamentally, getting to know their people. Mitxisechanchi. Each of the experiences and people we met, thanks to the proposal Fernando makes, are a treasure that no other group trip I know of offers.
Intense from every angle. When I recall it (re-cordis from Latin, to pass through the heart again), I live it again.

Magic Indonesia - 2018
I had wanted to visit Indonesia for a long time but was hesitant to go alone. When I found ShantiTur’s beautiful videos, I got very excited. I thought it was great to join a group, but I felt that it was very young people and, being older, I would feel uncomfortable both physically and emotionally… but I was very wrong. The ages were varied, and the physical part was not strenuous. Everything was at a good, careful pace and really very fun, so much so that I think next year I will sign up for the Dream Trip.The name ShantiTur gave it is perfect: “Magical Indonesia” because it truly is. We went to beautiful places. For me, it was a transformative cultural encounter. The landscape, the local people so nice, the group too, with very special people. Fernando is a very good guide who chose special places. Everything was very harmonious. This trip really did a lot of good for my soul. Thank you! Thanks to Fernando and ShantiTur.
